Kirk and I
Are Very good friends in Charity
Kirk has been a part of our SC.SK.WT
(Serving Charity Soup Kitchen Wednesday Team)
For the last 4 years.
Kirk’s Father Kenneth
Passed away a few months ago
It was a difficult time for all of the SC SK Wed Team
Boys and especially for Kirk and his family.
Afterwards Kirk told me that his family wanted his dad's belongings to go to
It was very difficult for Kirk and I when it was time to give away his dad’s clothes.
Together, we loaded all of his dad's clothes and shoes into the Hummer.
I told Victor to keep all of the bags of clothes and shoes
separated from our other donations.
In April I was supposed to go and find more locations and open up another orphanage for
The Haitian Refugees
But the tickets were all sold out and then it got so expensive
Suddenly we found a really cheap flight, booked it and left the next day
Then we did not have enough weight allowance for the donations but our
el MocamboAdmin called the airline and got the extra weight allowance for
When we went to the Airport they said that the
extra weight allowance wasn’t in the system
But I just talked to them and said my staff talked to your staff but it is not in the computer because we booked last minute
I explained to the woman about the clothes and then she let me take all of the clothing for the needy,
It was like a Miracle.
When we arrived in the Dominican I rented a car and loaded the boxes in and headed over to the
Serving Charity 2nd School and Orphanage
Jean and I
Are Very good Friends, we are both born on the same day
Jean is a Reverend
Serving Charity’s 2nd Project Manger.
In the D.R. one of our SC C4C Teachers asked me for shoes
I felt like Kenneth was talking to me from above
I told my SC C4C Teacher not to go anywhere because I had something for him.
I pulled out Kenneth’s belongings for Jean, the Teacher, and
Wendy Joseph Our Haitian Refugee brother
A few of the other C4C Teachers chose shoes,
The shoes brought so much LOVE and Joy to
their hearts in need.
I had tears in my eyes to see that
Our Kenneth’s loss of life brought so much life
to the poorest of the poor in NEED of
The Miracle is Kenneth’s belongings served in such a magnificent way
It allowed the Reverend who had sandals but no shoes to move on
serving and Teaching the Refugee Children
Kirk’s sharing of his father’s belongings inspired me to continue to share.
Jean, the 2nd Serving Charity project manager, has been asking me for a while for a laptop Computer but it has not been in the Serving Charity budget. When Jean received Kenneth’s shoes, it touched my heart in such beautiful way that I went and purchased a usb memory stick, stayed up all night to back up my files, and
gave him my own laptop.
Kenneth You are in our Hearts and Prayers and we Love you.

Poem written by Kirk Davis in the Memory of his Father
Transcending all living
spirit leads us
To true teaching
Through the power of giving
Beyond the limitations
Of the body
Sharing, supporting and standing
Against the true nature of suffering
becoming the beauty…
